Cute little place for breakfast in Middletown. It's not fancy or trendy, like many of the cafes in town. Instead, Chelsea's has a real local vibe. Don't look for menus on the table. Just look up st the board for the menu and the specials.
Both of us ordered specials, the Stuffed French Toast for 14 year old and the Omelet of the day for me. Both had a home cooked flavor and were delicious!
The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Prices are very reasonable. Just remember to bring cash or you can use the ATM on the premises. -

Breakfast here is absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my second time here in Newport rhode island and second time at this cafe, breakfast is excellent the Coffee is to die for, supper fresh food, I'm pregnant and everything makes sick, but the food here was everything I expected and was honestly delicious! I can't even have cold cuts and I order a turkey sandwich because they happen to make it right at the cafe nice and fresh, if you come to this cafe you must have the blue berry muffin this was literally the best muffin I've ever had in my entire life so dammm good with a cup of coffee
You be disappointed!! -

This tiny place has great prices and great food! Be sure to try the sweet bread French toast. It really doesn't even need the syrup.
They had a lot more breakfast choices than many places, and several more meat options.
My ham, egg and cheese sandwich was great. Everyone else liked their eggs and meat breakfast and said the home fries were very tasty. -

Cute place with affordable food. Pretty tasty and nice service. For a brunch weekend we were helped fast. I got the French toast- I do wish it was a bit more than three slices of bread on a plate. Maybe an orange slice or potatoes? At least put powder sugar on it! And we also ordered an omelette with chorizo. That was really good! This place is good for a low key breakfast spot.

Our group was VERY close to heading downtown into New Port for breakfast because we didn't have cash for this joint. Luckily, a member of our tribe had a cash flow to front the group and we ventured to Chelsea's which was 2 minute fro our hotel. AND BOY, were WE HAPPY ABOUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. Start to finish, Chelsea's was dope.
The whole environment was so warm and family centered. We were greeted by the lovely team and were blown away with the prices. Dirt cheap. Normally, this leads to poor food in NYC. But, we weren't in NYC anymore.
What we got:
-OmLIT was excellent. So large and in charge. Was different options with a side of home fries that were cooked to perfection.
-Cheese Burger (yes for breakfast). It WAS excellent. Super flavorful with a crap ton to toppings. Even an egg! ($4.95). Can't beat that!
Gosh. If you're around the area you must stop by here for some great home cooking and a great environment. You also cannot beat the price. Totaling out to sub 70$ for 7 (yes, 7!) people.
